What can my child ask their mentor?
Mentees can share their goals with their mentor and ask whatever advice they'd like. Common topics are: first-hand career insight, business advice and entrepreneurship, advice on professional school, AI-proof skills, time management and grades, career uncertainties, goal setting, resume audit, referrals and recommendation letters (see below) etc.
How will my child benefit from these sessions?
In addition to accessing un-matched insider insights, future planning, resume audits etc. that cannot be found anywhere else, long-term mentorship is the only way students can add and maintain these industry leaders in their networks.
How does the mentorship session work?
Once a mentee finds their favorite mentor, he/she can check out their availability and book a 1-on-1 call with them. Both parties will receive the virtual meeting link and show up at the designated time.
Can my child ask his/her mentor for a referral or a recommendation letter?
All mentors would need to get to know their mentee and his/her determination over-time before feeling comfortable to refer or recommend them. It is entirely up to the mentor if they decide to do so or not, and a purchase does not guarantee referrals or recommendation letters. Our subscription plans are designed exactly for this purpose: allowing a long-term and meaningful mentor-mentee relationship to form.
How do mentor subscriptions work?
Subscription plans allow students to seek continuous mentorship from their favorite mentors and save money. If a mentor offers subscription plans, you'll see them on their profile.
Can I reschedule a session or cancel for a refund?
You can reschedule or cancel a session 24 hours before the session to get a full refund. Any cancellation or rescheduling request during the 24 hours before the session is not refundable. If something urgent came up, email us at hello@knowflex.io and let us know what happened and we can evaluate your specific situation together.
How does the payment work?
You can make a purchase with a credit or debit card. Once you book a session, a hold will be placed on your card which will be finalized when the session takes place. If a session is canceled by you within the refund window or by the mentor, the hold will be removed. You can also purchase KnowFlex credits to use at any time. Your credits will never expire.
What time zones are the sessions in?
All times shown to you are in your local time zone. We take care of time zone matching in the background if needed.
